I dont understand ghosts
Or actually I dont understand movies about ghosts because there’s one thing that doesn’t really makes sense.
Gravity. How does gravity apply to ghosts? For example… when Patrick Swayze is jumping onto subway trains and shit- HOW does he not float away into space? The fact that Ghosts can walk through walls and climb in and out of Whoopi Goldberg and still be subject to gravity confuses me.
Because in order to walk through subway doors, one has to have no physical matter about them, right? Because if there was ANY physical matter, the ghost would be real and therefore, it wouldnt be able to pass through doors and shit. Gravity only acts on particles and if a ghost doesn’t have any “particles” then how the fuck can they jump up and down and COME BACK DOWN.
Now Slimer, from the ghostbuster- He makes sense to me but the fact that you can be SLIMED by him doesn’t because again, in order for him to pass through the wall he has to be all ghost. Like, he cant slime someone, go through a wall and then slime someone again. You cant change from ghost, to matter, to ghost just like that, right?
Can anyone tell me why ghost people are walking on the ground and not floating through air? Why hollywood pictures depict them like this when it makes no logical sense to me? Have I over thought this one?
